OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Oberlin (Ohio) College, 2-1, this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

- The Yeowomen took a 1-0 lead when Samantha Gilfond found the back of the next in the ninth minute.
- The Comets tied the game in the 32nd minute when freshman Maya Kerber netted her first collegiate goal.
- The score stayed 1-1 at halftime.
- Oberlin scored what proved to be the winning goal in the 72nd minute. Mattie Rie passed the ball to Camile Franklin who buried a shot over the keeper's head.
- Olivet tallied just four shots, including two for freshman Sydney Lynch.
- Sophomore Jordan Hartman played all 90 minutes in goal and had 12 saves.
- Oberlin peppered the goal with 40 total shots.
- Zoe Garver and Heather Benway led the way with seven shots apiece.
