#23 Eastern Connecticut Downs Men’s Soccer
Mansfield, Conn.- The nationally 23rd ranked Eastern Connecticut State men's soccer team defeated Framingham State in non-conference action Tuesday evening at Rick McCarthy Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Warriors scored two quick goals to jump out to the early lead. In the 6th minute a Rams foul set up a PK which was converted by Emmanuel Agyemang. Less than a minute later Andres Mayuri buried Agyemang's rebound to go up 2-0.
- Later in the first ECSU spread their lead to three when Will Toomey convereted on the give and go with Justin Jensen.
- The Rams responded when Bryce Nardizzi (Framingham, Mass.) snuck a bender inside the left post to cut into the lead.
- Just over a minute later Max Parent answered for the Warriors to reach the final margin.
- James Hartshorn (Chelmsford, Mass.) made five saves in net for the Rams. Kyle Boutot earned the win making two saves for ECSU.
- The two teams were deadlocked with 15 shots a side.
