Women's Soccer: Bison Edge Beavers
BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Bethany College women's soccer team traveled to Bluffton, Ohio for a non-conference contest against the Bluffton University Beavers, Saturday afternoon. The Bison defeated the Beavers, 2-1.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Bethany took the lead two minutes into the match after Myia Kirwan scored from a pass from Jada Benjamin.
- The Beavers scored in the 28th minute to knot the match at 1-1.
- Bethany's Mary Marshall scored the game winning goal with the assist coming from Jada Benjamin and Monica Bird.

- Bethany and Bluffton were even on shots with the Beavers taking the slight advantage, 10-9.
- The Bison had four shots on goal, while the Beavers had just two shots on goal.
