Transylvania University fought past the Anderson University men's soccer team with a 2-0 victory during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at Fridley Field.
Mitchell Crispin netted a goal assisted by Alec Coomes for the Pioneers (5-2-3, 2-0) during the second minute of the match. During the 82nd minute, Dylan Barnes provided a goal assisted by Leo Bill.
Usman Kamara led the Ravens (3-5-2, 0-2) with four shots and two shots on goal. Jordan Bossman, Regan Frost and Josh Martinez each put their only shot on frame. Drew Vaughn added a shot to round out Anderson's eight shots.
Danny Moro-Medina saved three of the five shots he faced.
The Ravens challenge Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (6-1-2, 2-0) in HCAC action on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Terre Haute.
