BALTIMORE, Md. – Sophomore goalkeepers Abby Cook (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) and Zoe Long (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) combined for seven saves in the shutout as the Randolph-Macon women's soccer team posted a 2-0 victory over Susquehanna on the second day of the Johns Hopkins Invitational.

How it Happened:
- The River Hawks had the first two shots of the match in the first 12 minutes, both on goal and both saved by Cook. The Yellow Jackets broke through in the 24th minute as freshman Lora Bertram (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) netted her first collegiate goal on an assist by sophomore Olivia Owens (Salisbury, Md./James M. Bennett) as R-MC took a 1-0 lead.
- Senior Maddie Bauman (Smithfield, Va./Smithfield) connected on a penalty kick in the 40th minute as the Yellow Jackets took a 2-0 advantage at intermission.
- SU had three shots on goal in the second half, all saved by Long, as R-MC registered the 2-0 victory.
By The Numbers:
- Cook grabbed four saves in the first half while Long tallied three in the second half.
- SU held an 11-10 edge in shots, including 7-4 in shots on goal. Owens led R-MC with three shots, while Bauman and senior Tyria Smalls (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) both had two.
- R-MC had an 8-5 advantage on shots in the first half, while SU had a 6-2 advantage in the second half.

- R-MC had three players named to the All-Tournament Team: Bertram, junior Gracie Tritt (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) and freshman Sammie Hoefs (New Market, Md./Linganore).
