Nazareth remained unbeaten as they defeated Alfred State 3-0 on Saturday evening at Pioneer Stadium.
The Flyers scored a pair of goals in the 1st half and added an insurance goal 11:30 into the 2nd half. Adoniadis Savidis scored in the 13th minute assisted by Zein Mohamed. Seven minutes later Dan Serpe scored after getting a nice set up pass from Sam Smyth. Smyth picked up his second assist in the game when he sent a crossing pass that Mohamed was able to tap in to cap the scoring.
Nazareth (4-0) outshot the Pioneers 14 to 3 in the contest. Brian Wilkin made two saves to record the shutout while Nico Coria (Honeoye Falls Lima) made five saves for the blue & gold.
The Pioneers are back in action next Saturday when they travel across Allegany County to take on Houghton.
