Hawks Fall Short Against Covenant
Montgomery, Ala.-The Huntingdon Men's Soccer Team lost to Covenant, 6-2. The Hawks are now 2-1-1 in conference and 6-7-1 overall.
Covenant scored first at 9:48 and Kelan LeBlanc responded just 6 minutes later with an unassisted goal.
Covenant scored 4 straight goals, 2 in the 1st half and 2 in the 2nd half, before the Hawks scored again. Sammy Sanchez made it 5-2 with an assist from Colton Kay. Covenant scored another goal at 86:23 to secure the 6-2 win.
Goalkeeper Joshua Burton made 2 saves on 8 shots on goal. The Hawks offense totalled only 3 shots.
The Hawks are back in action at home on Tuesday, October 19th, when they take on LaGrange at 6 PM CST.
