The 12th-ranked Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team defeated Baldwin Wallace University 1-0 on Friday night on Tressel Field at George Finnie Stadium in Berea, Ohio.

The Spartans improved to 3-0-0 on the season, while Yellow Jackets suffered their first loss and fell to 3-1-0. The win marked the 27th consecutive regular season non-conference victory for CWRU, a streak which dates back to the 2018 season.

For the third match in a row, graduate student forward Camryn Hartman tallied a goal, scoring the only one of the night in the 51st minute. Hartman received a pass alone at the edge of the eight-yard box on the far side of the goal and fired a shot past the goalkeeper for her team-leading third goal of the season.

In the scoreless first half, Case Western Reserve controlled possession, outshooting Baldwin Wallace 6-1 and recording three shots on goal to the Yellow Jackets' none. Overall, the Spartans totaled 11 shots, including five on goal, with Hartman leading the squad with four shots.

Junior goalkeeper Maggie Storti recorded her second consecutive shutout in goal while recording one save.
