Ryan Bascue is a Hardin-Simmons University graduate (Communications, 2015; MBA in Sports Management, 2017). While At HSU, he worked for the entire spectrum of HSU Athletics while playing football. After football season, he worked for the sports information department as a student assistant for three years doing things such as managing Hardin-Simmons Athletics social media, writing press releases, game-day set up and tear down, broadcasting, public address, photography, filming and statistics for the Hardin-Simmons University basketball, baseball, golf, softball and soccer teams. While a graduate assistant, Ryan, had the opportunity to refine his sports knowledge and game-day management skills and worked as the graduate assistant for two years and sharpened his skills as a game day promoter, social media manager, an official statistician, championship coordinator, a creator of press releases, and general day to day operations that come with working for a collegiate athletic department.
Ryan is Fan Relations Ticket Agent at Texas Motor Speedway. And on Friday nights, Ryan is a play by play analyst for Flower Mound High School football on Champion Sports Radio. Ryan is a huge Hardin-Simmons soccer supporter and has been ever since he stepped foot on the Forty-Acres. Ryan currently resides in Flower Mound, Texas.
