Upcoming Top Matches - Week4
Each Monday during the season we plan to highlight matches in the upcoming week (Monday through Sunday, between the teams believed to be stronger sides in Division III soccer. We will use Massey Ratings to identify these teams. There are two sections below:
- Matches where both sides are ranked in the top 25.
- Contests between teams ranked 1 through 75.
- Ratings are from Monday, September 20; using results through Sunday, September 19.
While there are still a few "head scratching" anomalies, team rankings are settling in as the Massey Ratings system learn's from this season's results. As most teams have now completed roughly one quarter to one third of their regular season schedules (exceptions are the NESCAC and those with schedules impacted by Covid protocols or Hurricane IDA).
