Upcoming Top Matches - Week7
Each Monday during the season we plan to highlight matches in the upcoming week (Monday through Sunday, between the teams believed to be stronger sides in Division III soccer. We will use Massey Ratings to identify these teams. There are two sections below:
- Matches where both sides are ranked in the top 25.
- Contests between teams ranked 1 through 75.
- Ratings are from Monday, October 11; using results through Sunday, October 10.
While there are still a few "head scratching" anomalies, and we all have our own opinions, team rankings are settling in as the Massey Ratings system learn's from this season's results. As most teams have now completed at least two thirds of their regular season schedules. Note that we are still using Massey here rather than our own Top 25 poll is the desire to go deeper in the ratings pool to 75 teams.
