Roberts Named to NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-East Region Team
Aurora, N.Y. – Delroy Roberts (Schenectady, N.Y./Schenectady) has been named 2010 National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association (NSCAA)/Performance Subaru Men's NCAA Division III All-East Region Third Team. This is Roberts's second post-season award, having been named North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) All-Conference Second Team for the third straight year.
Roberts, a junior, finished the season with a team leading nine goals (5th in the NEAC) and two assists for a total of 20 points (4th in the NEAC). Roberts currently holds the Wells career record for points (44), goals (18), and assist (8).This is Robert's first regional award.
This was by far one of the Express' most prolific teams, notching program highs in goals (25) and shutouts (7). Despite the statistical highs, the Express missed the conference tournament for the first time in three years, finishing seventh, just one spot out of the playoffs.
