Westminster (Mo.) Freshman Plays Key Role In Win
Decatur, Ill. - Freshmen Rayder Bennett, who was a late addition to Thursday's travel roster, played a key role in Westminster College's 2-1 overtime win over Millikin University.
Bennett, a freshman from Laurie, Mo. (Camdenton) scored the first goal of the match in the 42nd minute to give the Blue Jays (1-0) a 1-0 lead at halftime. Millikin (0-1) tied the score in the 61st minute and the two teams went to overtime. Bennett came up big in the 95th minute, scoring his second goal of the match and the game winner.
