Westminster Men Fifth In SLIAC Men's Soccer Poll
The Westminster College men are picked fifth by the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer coaches in this year's pre-season men's soccer poll. The Blue Jays, who tied the school record with 12 wins last year, finished fifth in last year's league standings at 4-3-1.
All-conference second team sophomore Ron Moore (Little Rock, Ark./Catholic) returns after leading the team in goals (7), points (17) and game-winning goals (2) last year. Senior Sean Peterson (Chesterfield, Mo./Lafayette) is back for his final campaign after sharing the team lead in goals (7) and scoring 15 points. Junior Graham Lloyd (Columbia, Mo./Hickman) returns after finishing with five goals and 13 points a year ago.
