Blue Jay Men Move To 3-1 with 4-2 Road Victory
Clarksville, Ark. - The Westminster College men's soccer squad scored first and never trailed in recording a 4-2 road victory over the University of the Ozarks Saturday.
Junior Chad Miller (St. Charles, Mo./Duchesne) put the Blue Jays (3-1) on the board in the 24th minute. Ozarks (1-4) tied the score in the 40th minute, but sophomore Zack Moore (Nixa, Mo./Ozark) tallied a go-ahead goal in the 45th minute and Westminster led for good.
In the second half, sophomore Tyler Cook (St. Louis, Mo./Oakville) recorded the game winning goal. Ozarks would strike late, but sophomore Sasha Mohamadi (Kansas City, Mo./Blue Valley N.W.) answered to help Westminster equal last year's 3-1 start.
