SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Luis Santana's goal in the 86th minute provided the main highlight for Cal Lutheran Friday afternoon as the Kingsmen were defeated by UC Santa Cruz by a score of 4-1.

Box Score: UCSC 4, CLU 1 - F

Competing in only his second soccer game in CLU colors, Iggy Wagner earned his first point of the season, finding Santana six yards out in front of the Banana Slugs' net to set up the only CLU goal of the afternoon.

Of the six shots the Kingsmen took throughout the match, four were on goal.

Earning a spot in the starting 11 for the first time this season, CLU goalkeeper Rey Rivera-Ramos finished the match with three saves.

Cal Lutheran will end its two-game road trip in Santa Cruz on Sunday, September 11 against Gustavus Adolphus, kick-off will take place at 4 p.m.
