Blue Jay Men Drop Neutral Site Match On Sunday
St. Louis, Mo. - Westminster College out shot Birmingham Southern College 5-4, but Birmingham Southern tallied the game-winner on a rebound in handing the Blue Jays (3-2-2) a 1-0 loss Sunday at Washington University.
Birmingham Southern (4-2) got the winning goal in the 37th minute of the match, when Tyler Evans tallied off a rebound of a Westminster save. Westminster was playing its second match in less than 20 hours, having gone two overtime periods Saturday night in a 2-2 tie with Coe College. Ironically, the Blue Jays will be back in St. Louis Wednesday to face Washington University.
