Miller Gets Game-Winner For Westminster (Mo.) Men
Carlinville, Ill. – Junior Chad Miller (St. Charles, Mo./Duchesne) score in the second overtime period to lift the Westminster College men's soccer squad to a 3-2 win over Blackburn College in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener for both teams Saturday.
The Blue Jays (4-3-2, 1-0 SLIAC) got goals from senior JP Thompson (St. Louis, Mo./Christian Brothers) and sophomore Ronald Moore (Little Rock, Ark./Catholic), but were extended to overtime by host Blackburn (5-3, 0-1 SLIAC). Westminster is 2-1-2 in five overtime matches this season.
