(Gwynedd Valley, Pa.) – The Dickinson College men's soccer team didn't score its first goal until there was just 1:23 remaining in the first half on Wednesday night. They went on to post four more after the break, however, posting a 5-0 win at Gwynedd-Mercy.

Sophomore Javier Mena (San Salvador, El Salvador/American School), who was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, dished out three assists in a span of nine minutes to key the Red Devil attack. He becomes the seventh player in progream history to record three assists in a game, and the first since Chris White '99 in 1998.

Junior Nicolas Tierno (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek Regional) put the Devils on the board, scoring unassisted just before halftime. Sophomore Chris Schultz (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) finished Mena's first assist with just 2:08 off the clock in the second half.

Mena found junior Sung Woo Kim (Seoul, Korea/Fryeburg Academy) in the 55th minute and then tallied his third helper of the day, 1:42 later, this time to Kyle Schwab (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom), stretching the Devil lead to 4-0.

Senior Bryan Gilmartin (Branchburg, N.J./St. Joseph's) struck for the Devils' final goal of the night, scoring off an assist from first-year Connor Gavey (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) in the 80th minute.

Junior Cody Hickok (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) made seven saves to earn his second shutout of the season. Mike Leonard and Tom Reed combined to make 11 saves in goal for the GMC. The Devils doubled up the Griffs in shots, 18-9, while holding a 6-1 advantage in corners.

The Red Devils improve to 3-1-2 overall. They travel to Washington College on Saturday for a 7:00 pm kick-off with the Shoremen.
