Westminster's Peterson Earns NSCAA Soccer Honor
Fulton, Mo. - Westminster College senior Sean Peterson (Chesterfield, Mo./Lafayette) has been named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division III All-Central Region Third Team, as announced by the NSCAA.
Peterson, who was a team captain and a second team all-conference pick this past season, led Westminster in goals (7) and tied for the team lead in game-winning goals (2) for a Blue Jay team that went 11-4-4 overall and captured the school's second St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) league title with a 7-0-1 record.
Peterson is the 12th Blue Jay all-region honor winner and the only SLIAC male to earn all-region recognition this season.
