Foresters Edge out Edgewood for third Straight Victory
The Lake Forest College men's soccer team defeated visiting Edgewood College 1-0 on Wednesday for its third victory in as many games this season. Sophomore Nicholas Kliminski scored the game's only goal with 1:42 to play in the first half.
Kliminski has scored in each of the team's games and it was his second game-winning goal of the year.
It was the first collegiate shutout for Forester junior goalkeeper Giancarlo Colasanti.
Lake Forest out-shot the Eagles 7-0 in the first half and 9-2 in the second.
The Foresters will travel to Marian University on Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. contest.
