MACHIAS, ME- The Thomas Terriers (2-0-1) defeated University of Maine-Machias 4-1 in a non-conference men's soccer match Sunday afternoon. Michael Hand (Essex, England) continued his scoring streak (three games), finding the back of the net in each game so far this season, while only playing the first five minutes of the match, scoring on a PK.

Dakota Duplisse (Hampden, Maine), Khamisi Lightbourne (Sandy's, Bermuda), and John Freese (Concord, N.H.) also netted goals in the overwhelming victory, as Thomas held an 18-16 shot advantage.

Mikkail Crockwell (St. David's, Bermuda) continues to be solid between the pipes, collecting six saves, and lowering his goals against average down to 0.93.

The Terriers will start conference play next Saturday, Sept. 15 against in-state rival Husson University on the road. Match time scheduled for 7pm.
