New Jersey City Liberty Cup Score: Keystone 3 Baruch 1; Kozlowski & Cruz Named All-Tournament
The men's soccer team lost a 3-1 contest to Keystone College in the final day of the New Jersey City University Liberty Cup played on Sunday afternoon in Jersey City, Jersey.
Keystone jumped out to a 3-0 lead with goals at 19:47, 52:41, and 64:55.
The Bearcats had a 13-7 shot advantage, but could only find the back of the net late in the match at 81:44 as Arlind Stafaj scored on an assist from Vincent Cruz.
Oren Kozlowski led the Bearcats with three shots, while Christopher Peralta and Stafaj finished with two shots each.
Kozlowski and Cruz were both named to the All-Tournament Team (see list below).
The team will look to regroup as they return to action next Saturday, September 15, at 12:00 pm, with a non-conference home match at the Met Oval against NYU.
