CASTINE, Maine –Kennard Brown scored the game's only goal to deliver Maine-Fort Kent a 1-0 win at Maine Maritime Tuesday afternoon. The Bengals remain unblemished at 5-0 with the victory, while the Mariners move to .500 on the season.

Brown was the third and final touch on a scramble in front of Maine Maritime's net early in the 18th minute. A cross from the right side of the box made its way over to Odean Irons, who quickly redirected onto the waiting foot of Brown for the game-winner at 17:09. Mariners' keeper, William Trace Lacour (Charlottesville, Va.) turned away five Fort Kent shots in absorbing the loss. His counterpart, Giovanni Sinclair, stopped six shots to keep a clean sheet.

The Mariners return to action on Saturday at Husson.
