2012 NAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Awards Announced

Waterville, ME-  The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's soccer postseason honors have been announced and Thomas College has grasped multiple accolades.

Seven Terriers have received NAC honors, with captains Mikkail Crockwell (St. David's, Bermuda), Michael Hand (Essex, England, UK), and Paul Rechichi(Kingsley, Australia) collecting First Team selections. Representing Thomas on the Second Team are Dakota Duplissie (Hampden, Maine) and Joshua Phelps(Maroochydor, Australia)

Goalkeeper Crockwell also garnered Defensive Player of the Year honors after leading the Terriers to an 8-0-1 record in the conference. Crockwell led the league in shutouts (5), goals against (3), goals against average (.333), save percentage (.939), and wins (7). 

Freshman midfielder Phelps was named Rookie of the Year after a successful first-year season. Phelps was among leaders in the league for assists (6), goals (4), and points (14). 

Hand was named All-NAC First Team after leading the Terriers in goals this season with 10, and ranked third in the NAC. Hand is also ranked second for Thomas for points this season.

Rechichi, a strong defensive presence for the Terriers and has also contributed offensively. He has tallied two goals for Thomas along with four points.

Duplissie is ranked fourth in the NAC for assists and second for shots on goal. He leads the Terriers with 81 shots on goal, and earning himself a Second Team selection. Duplissie has produced offensively when asked as he has totaled 24 points for the Terriers.
