NAC Tourney MVP Crockwell Named Player of the Week
WATERVILLE, ME- Junior captain Mikkail Crockwell (St. David's, Bermuda) has been selected as the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Week.
Crockwell was tabbed the North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament Most Valuable Player following Thomas' 3-0 victory over Husson in the Championship game. Crockwell finished the 2012 conference playoffs with shutouts in all three games, recording a combined 10 saves, including seven in the semifinal match against Maine Maritime.
Crockwell was also recently named NAC Defensive Player of the Year for his efforts this season, having led the NAC with a .895 save percentage and .610 goals against average, giving up just 10 goals on the entire season.
