Erb, O’Day and Twanmoh Named to All-Association Men’s Soccer Team

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Led by a second-team selection for senior midfielder Eric Erb (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington), three members of the Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team have been named to the 2012 All-University Athletic Association Team announced on Thursday.

In addition to Erb, sophomore forward Patrick O'Day (Plano, Texas/Plano) and senior midfielder Ross Twanmoh (Fallston, Md./Fallston) were each tabbed honorable mention.

A team co-captain, Erb led the Spartans with 10 points on four goals and two assists. An honorable-mention All-UAA pick last season, Erb finishes his career with 41 points on 15 goals and 11 assists in 74 matches. His 15 goals tie for the seventh-most in program history, and he ranks eighth in points and tied for fourth in matches played. O'Day, last year's UAA Co-Rookie of the Year, ranked second on the team with nine points on four goals and an assist. In just two seasons, O'Day has totaled 40 points on 15 goals and 10 assists. He is tied for seventh in team history in goals and ranks ninth in points.

Twanmoh, also a team co-captain, tallied a pair of scores this fall. In 71 career matches, he finished with 16 points on five goals and six assists. Twanmoh is also a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree.
