Baruch Falls to Morrisville State (3-0)
The Baruch College Bearcats suffered a 3-0 loss to Morrisville State on Sunday afternoon in upstate Morrisville, New York.
The home team Mustangs (2-1) from the North Eastern Athletic Conference (N.E.A.C.) narrowly won the shot battle with a 15-14 advantage.
They scored once in the first half and two goals in the final 15 minutes of the contest to wrap up the victory. Two different goalkeepers combined for seven saves for the shutout.
Kevin Romero had four of the 14 total shots for the visiting Bearcats this afternoon.
Baruch will return to action on Wednesday, September 11, with a 4:00 pm non-conference contest at New Jersey City University.
