Hand Named NAC Player of the Week
WHITINGHAM, VT – Thomas senior Michael Hand has been nominated as the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Week for his efforts during the first week of the 2013 regular season.
Over a 1-1 weekend for the Terriers in the Endicott Invitational, Hand tallied two goals and an assist. In the 3-2 OT loss to William Patterson scored the first marker of the contest, then had a goal and a helper in the 3-0 victory over Purchase on Saturday. For his efforts, Hand was an All-Tournament selection as well.
This marks the third time in his career that Hand has been chosen for this honor, doing so his freshman season on November 8, 2010 and again is sophomore year September26, 2011.
Thomas will return to the pitch on Wednesday as they travel to Saint Joseph's at 4pm.
