Kansas City, KS --- WPI senior Chris Ciampa (Danvers, MA) has landed on the 2013 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III All-New England North Second Team.

Ciampa, previously named a repeat NEWMAC All-Conference First Team selection, finished the season third in the conference with 12 goals and fifth in points with 25 in addition to a trio of game-winners. The forward lifted the Engineers past Becker with four goals – including a natural hat-trick - in the season opener and was the difference against NEWMAC foes Clark and Coast Guard.

The four-time All-NEMWAC honoree racked up 35 goals – 11 game-winners - and doled out 10 assists for 80 points to go along with a quartet of weekly awards over the span of his career.

Springfield senior Ryan Malone (Chicopee, MA) and MIT sophomore Sean Bingham (Garden City,  NY) represented the NEWMAC on the North first team while Wheaton juniors Luke Finkelstein (Peabody, MA) and Travis Blair (Hastings, NY) were placed on the South first team as Babson senior Sam Percival (Andover, MA) made the South second squad. Locally, senior Patrick Gaumond (Holden, MA) from Nichols represented the Bison on the South second team.

WPI, under the tutelage of 22nd year head coach Malcolm MacPherson, who reached the 300 win plateau against Salve Regina, and first-year co-head coach Brian Kelley, wrapped up the 2013 campaign with an 11-5-1 overall mark and a 3-4 ledger in NEWMAC play.
