ECAC honors Jeremy Nash with weekly award
DUDLEY, Mass. – Nichols College junior Jeremy Nash (Springfield, Mass.) has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Nash – who was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week on Monday –recorded a pair of shutouts on the week to move to 4-0-1 on the season. Nash recorded seven saves in a 4-0 win over Becker and then recorded five saves in Saturday's shutout of UNE to open the Bison's conference schedule. Nash is second in the CCC in goals against average (GAA) (0.57) and shutouts (two), and third in save percentage (.912).
The Bison (4-0-1) return to action on Wednesday when they head to Buzzards Bay, Mass. for a 7 p.m. contest at Massachusetts Maritime.
