#6 Rowan Men's Soccer Ends Game With Scoreless Draw At Ramapo
MAHWAH, NJ – The Rowan University men's soccer team ended with a scoreless draw after two overtimes at Ramapo College in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Saturday.
The Profs are 15-2-1 overall and 7-0-1 in the conference. This week, Rowan is ranked sixth in the nation and first in the South Atlantic Region. The Roadrunners have an 8-9-1 record with a 3-4-1 NJAC mark.
Ramapo goalkeeper Ryan Sprague (sr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) turned away 14 shots and Rowan goalie Erik Checkur (jr. Wantage, NJ/High Point Reg.) had three saves. The Profs compiled 26 total shots, seven in overtime while the Roadrunners only had five.
In the final regular season game, Rowan hosts The College of New Jersey on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
