Baruch Falls to CCNY (3-2)
The men's soccer team suffered a 3-2 CUNYAC road defeat against the Beavers of CCNY on Wednesday afternoon at Randall's Island.
The Beavers took a 3-0 lead, but the Bearcats rallied with two goals to make the match interesting.
Cormac Foley cut the score to 3-1 in the 63rd minute and Ricardo Llanos made it 3-2 in the 78th.
Unfortunately, the Beavers kept them off the scoreboard the rest of the match to hand the Bearcats their fourth straight defeat.
The visiting Bearcats out-shot the host Beavers 13-11, which included a 7-4 margin in the second half.
Darko Delano recorded two assists for the winners.
Llanos and Foley also had three shots each.
The Bearcats will finish their regular season schedule on Saturday against Staten Island. Prior to the match, the team will host Bearcat Appreciation Day for the players playing in their final regular season match.
