Cadets Drop Last Regular Season Contest, 5-0, To Plattsburgh
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The women's soccer team lost their last game of the regular season in a non-conference match against Plattsburgh State University in a 5-0 shutout on Wednesday afternoon.
The Cadet's held their own on in the battle, trying to outwork the Cardinals on the field. Although Plattsburgh outshot Norwich 40-6, senior Alecia Wright was a key player in the net, making a season-high 19 saves for the Cadets.
Norwich (11-7) returns to conference action on Sunday, as they will host the GNAC quarterfinal contest at Howard Field at noon. Their opponent remains undetermined until conference plays wraps up on Thursday.
