CLEVELAND, Ohio – Seven different Case Western Reserve University women's soccer players scored a goal as the Spartans remained unbeaten with a 7-1 home victory versus Olivet College (Mich.) on Saturday, September 10, during the second day of the Case/JCU Classic at Case Field.

Case tacked on one more score before the half at 20:27 when senior goalkeeper Anna Kennedy (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) punted a ball down the left side, where it took one hop on the turf, was quickly headed by senior midfielder Alexandra Litofsky (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) and caught junior forward Ashley Debeljak (Beachwood, Ohio/Beachwood) on the run. Debeljak dribbled down the left and lofted a shot over the goalkeeper's head for the score.

Case added to its lead in the second half when freshman forward Katie Holland (Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) notched her first goal of the season just 47 seconds after the halftime break. With just under 17 minutes elapsed, Litofsky booted in a free kick from 22 yards out for her first goal of the fall. Olivet got on the board in the 84th minute when Katie Murphy lofted a shot that found the back of the Spartan net, breaking the Spartans' 389-minute scoreless streak.

In goal, senior Anna Kennedy (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) needed only one save in the first 45 minutes and improved to 3-0-1. Freshman Cameron Casson (Allen, Texas/Allen) started the second stanza in goal for the Spartans logging 30:00 of action, while sophomore Kerry Martenis (Southgate, Mich./Southgate Anderson) logged the final 15:00 of play.
