Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton College women's soccer team picked up its fifth-straight shutout with 4-0 victory over Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday.

The No. 3-ranked Thunder improved to 8-0 while the Bishops fell to 4-3-1.

Wheaton goalkeeper Kelsey Graham started and picked up her first collegiate win. She made one save on the night to increase the Thunder's defensive streak to 469 minutes without allowing a goal.

All the offense belonged to Wheaton on the night. The hosts held a 39-1 shot advantage in the game and score two goals in both halves. The Thunder kept the pressure on all night in the Bishops' defensive end and continually made runs at the goal.

The scoring started at the 22:07 mark when defender Laura Karsten bombed in a strike from 23 years out that hit the left post and ricocheted into the net. The assist came courtesy of Katelyn Kishkunas.

Only three-and-a-half minutes later, forward Ali Kopelman increased the lead to 2-0. The senior scored a header off a double-assisted corner by Kishkunas and Jaime Orewiler.

Freshman Anna Seabolt tallied her first career collegiate goal at 67:59 in the second half when she successfully volleyed a high, spinning ball that was launched in from distance by senior Esther Tan. Orewiler finished off the scoring at 72:13 by corraling a loose ball on the counter attack and going top shelf from the top of the penalty box.

Graham made one save in goal while Bishops goalkeeper Hannah Zacharias made six saves to take the loss.

Wheaton is back in action on Tuesday with a 4 PM game at University of Chicago.
