Cal Lutheran Scores Program Record 16 Goals in Win
OAKLAND, Calif. - Cal Lutheran scored a program record 16 goals during a shutout road victory over Mills College on Saturday afternoon. Mayra Virgen scored four times and Kristina Hulse added a hat trick of her own in the victory.

Cal Lutheran led 6-0 at intermission behind goals from Jess Armstrong, Taylor Will, Rosemarie Lombardi, Hulse, and a pair from Virgen.
Eleven different Regals scored including Sinead Vaughan, Lindsay Armenta, Amanda Garcia, Jess Dingman, Kainoa Becker and Dani Granholm.
The team's 16 goals surpasses the team's previous mark of 14 scored against Cal Baptist back on Nov. 2, 1991. Cal Lutheran's 10 second half goals also breaks the program record for scores in a single half surpassing the nine scored against La Verne back on Oct. 10, 1992.
The Regals earned their fifth straight shutout during Saturday's victory.
Cal Lutheran (14-1-0) will face UC Santa Cruz on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 1 p.m. The Regals defeated the Banana Slugs by a 2-0 margin back on Oct. 9 at William Rolland Stadium.
