Ogar Scores Pair Of Goals In 5-0 Shut Out Victory
Fulton, Mo. - Westminster College sophomore Sarah Ogar (Mexico, Mo./Mexico) scored two goals and the game-winner in leading the Blue Jay women's soccer squad to a 5-0 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference home win over MacMurray College Saturday.
Ogar, who shares the team lead with three goals and leads the team with eight points, found the net in the 20th minute. Senior Katie Denning (Jefferson City, Mo./Jefferson City) scored to give Westminster (2-12, 2-4 SLIAC) a 2-0 lead at intermission. Ogar tallied again early in the second half, and freshman Abby Ryan (Lenexa, Kan./Olathe East) and sophomore Megan Gunnels (Ozark, Mo./Ozark) rounded out the scoring against visiting MacMurray (1-14, 0-6 SLIAC).
