Women's Soccer Scores Six All-West Region Selections
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Cal Lutheran women's soccer placed six of its members on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III All-West Team. Five of the six selections were named First Team selections.

Two of the four first team selections at the defender position went to Regals. Jess Dingman earned her second regional honor after earning a second team nod as a freshman in 2008. Teammate and three-time All-SCIAC pick Jen Jones earned her first regional selection to cap off her four-year CLU career.
Senior Sinead Vaughan and junior newcomer Lindsay Armenta make up half of the midfielders whom were selected to the All-Regional First Team. Vaughan was named the SCIAC Player of the Year and now All-Region First Team during both seasons with the Regals. Armenta picked up a First Team All-SCIAC and now All-Region in her first year at CLU.
Rounding out the Cal Lutheran first team selections is freshman forward Taylor Will. She led the conference providing 19 goals and 46 total points to earn SCIAC Newcomer of the Year honors.
In 14 games of action as the Regals goalkeeper freshman Renee Standage allowed only four goals and posted a 12-1-1 record. She held opponents to a 0.33 goals against average and earned five solo shutouts to earn All-Region Second Team honors.
Cal Lutheran was the only school in the SCIAC to receive any first team selections and led the conference with six total honorees. Pomona-Pitzer received three and Redlands landed a pair.
