Corinne Henning headed in a corner kick for the game's only goal as Hamline edged Wisconsin-River Falls, 1-0, at Paterson Field. Henning re-directed Keanna Mienert's corner in a scramble in front of the goal with 16:58 remaining to break a scoreless tie.
The Pipers had the edge in play most of the afternoon, outshooting the Falcons, 13-7.
Molly Jacobs recorded three saves for her second straight shutout win. Rebecca Kramer had seven saves for the Falcons.
Hamline is 2-0-0 while Wisconsin-River Falls fell to 1-2-0.
