UW-Stout held scoreless by Viterbo
Viterbo University took advantage of a couple of opportunities and made the best of them as they defeated UW-Stout, 2-0, Wednesday.
The V-Hawks (5-1) scored off a corner kick in the first half by Bre Burzey, then clinched the game with a successful penalty kick by Lauren Neet in the second hafl.
Robbie Shelby absorbed the loss, recording five saves, including an outstanding save in the first half.
"This is one of the best offensive teams we will see," said second year UW-Stout coach Ryan Raufus. "We are not creating chances to score."
