ROWAN TOO MUCH AS PROFS DOWN NJCU, 6-0

GLASSBORO, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Rowan University, the No. 9 ranked team in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division III South Atlantic Region, outshot NJCU 22-3 in the first half and scored six times in the period as the Profs handed New Jersey City University a 6-0 defeat on September 22 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference women's soccer game. Rowan scored three times in a span of 1:48 in the ninth and 10th minutes to stake control of the game.
 
Rowan improves to 5-1 (2-0 NJAC), while snapping NJCU's winning streak at two games, as the Gothic Knights fall to 3-5-2 (1-2 NJAC). Rowan is 15-0 all-time in the series and finished with advantages of 34-6 in shots and 8-2 on corner kicks.
 
In defeat, sophomore goalkeeper BRITTANY HOFFMAN (McMurray, PA/Peters Township) collected 14 saves, reaching double digits in saves for the fifth time this season and 10th time in her career.
