Adrian Rolls Past Albion
ALBION – Ellery Karsten produced two goals and two assists and Erin Weide chipped in with two goals and an assist to lead Adrian College to an 8-0 victory over Albion College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer action.
It took Adrian nearly 21 minutes to score its first goal – Courtney Pomeroy scored off a corner kick by Patti Vaassen – but the Bulldogs were able to build a 3-0 lead by halftime.
Jessica Bidock placed a shot on goal for Albion, and Lindsey Lubanski was also credited with a shot for the Britons.
Albion will play its final home match of the season at 12 p.m. Saturday when it challenges Alma College.
