Medaille Women Fall in Opening Round of AMCC Tournament
BUFFALO, NY--The Medaille College women's soccer team traveled to D'Youville Saturday afternoon to play the Spartans in the first round of the AMCC Tournament. After a hard fought battle, the Mavericks finished one goal short, dropping the game 1-0.
The Lady Mavs totaled six shots in the game but that wasn't enough offense as the Spartan defense proved to be too much late in the game. Breanna Hyman led the Mavericks with two shots on goal. Goalie Denay O'Connor finished the day in goal with (5) saves.
The Lady Mavs (7-11) are now finished with the season and will look to build on their success in 2012 as they head into the 2013 season.
