St. Elizabeth's Kelly O'Dell scores four goals against Gallaudet
SOMERSET, N.J. – Gallaudet University's women's soccer team fell to College of St. Elizabeth, 4-1, Saturday afternoon on the road in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest.
The Bison (2-10, 1-6 NEAC) were unable to maintain their momentum from Thursday's win over Wilson College as they allowed four straight goals to open the game.
The day belonged to Screaming Eagle's captain and senior defender Kelly O'Dell who found the back of the goal four times in the contest. She opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a finish low to the right side of senior Bison goalkeeper Kara Gulvas (Crown Point, Ind.), who stopped eight shots in the game. O'Dell put St. Elizabeth (4-7-1, 3-4 NEAC) up 2-0 just before the half with a shot to the far post off a long left side dribble in the 42nd minute.
