Brooklyn's Kerwin Named CUNYAC Rookie of the Week
Flushing, NY --- Brooklyn College freshman Jordan Kerwin has been named the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week, for the week ending September 8th.
Making her collegiate debut in BC's season opener on Tuesday, September 3rd, Kerwin notched a pair of goals and also added an assist to help lead the Bulldogs to a 7-0 win over Sarah Lawrence College.
Kerwin would score her third goal of the week in a 2-0 victory against reigning CUNYAC champion the City College of New York on Saturday, September 7th.
For the week, Kerwin totaled three goals and an assist for seven points, as the Bulldogs went 2-0 to start off the 2013 campaign.
Kerwin and the rest of the BC Women's Soccer team will be back in action this Wednesday, September 11th, when the Bulldogs will play host to borough rival St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) at BC Field. The match is scheduled for a 5:00 pm start time.
