Flushing, NY --- Brooklyn College freshmen, midfielder Jordan Kerwin and goalkeeper Kimberly Chacko have been named the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Women's Soccer Player and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for the week ending September 15th.

This past week, BC posted wins against St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) (6-0) on September 11th and Washington Adventist University (4-0) on September 13th.

Kerwin, who was named the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week last week, continued her stellar play on the season as she accounted for three goals and an assist for seven points against St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) and Washington Adventist.

In Brooklyn's first match of the week against St. Joseph's, Kerwin notched a goal and had her best game of the week against Washington Adventist, registering two goals and an assist to once again fuel the BC offense.

Chacko accumulated 135 minutes in goal over the two matches, leading the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week. Chacko recorded a save in each game to ensure the shutout in both matches.

Kerwin, Chacko and the rest of the BC Women's Soccer team will begin CUNYAC play tomorrow, Wednesday, September 18th, as the Bulldogs will be on the road to take on the Cardinals of York College. The match is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start at Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, NY.
