Brooklyn, NY --- Brooklyn College freshman Jordan Kerwin tallied a pair of goals and an assist to help the BC Women's Soccer team top the visiting Shock of Washington Adventist University on Friday afternoon at BC Field, by a score of 4-0.

With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 4-0 overall on the season, while the Shock fall to 0-2. The shutout victory was also Brooklyn's fourth straight shutout.

BC got on the board early, when Shani Nakhid-Schuster sent a long pass down the side of the field that found Shani Abrahams, who slid the ball past the diving keeper, for her third goal of the year, in the 5th minute.

Just four minutes later, Kerwin would put Brooklyn up 2-0, as she controlled a loose ball in the box, knocking home her first score of the day. Kerwin would strike again in the 10th minute, taking a pass from Nakhid-Schuster in the box, to score her second goal of the game and sixth of the season.

The score would remain 3-0 until the 75th minute, when Kerwin found an open Sayla Flores in the box, who capped off the scoring for the game with her fourth goal of the season.

Kimberly Chacko played all 90 minutes in goal, recording a save; while Tasheika Russell registered 15 saves in net, also playing all 90 minutes.

Brooklyn will be back in action on Monday, September 16th, when the Bulldogs will play host to borough rival NYU-Poly. The match is scheduled for a 6:00 pm start time at BC Field.
