UNION, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Two-time All-New Jersey Athletic Conference junior goalkeeper Brittany Hoffman (McMurray, PA/Peters Township) stopped 10 shots under heavy pressure as the New Jersey City University women's soccer team lost to host Kean University, 4-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game under the lights on October 2 at Kean Alumni Stadium.

Hoffman went over the 400-save plateau for her career in the loss. She reached double figures in saves for the 16th time in her career and fourth consecutive game in the loss as Kean outshot NJCU, 43-0—21 in the first half and 22 in the second period.
Kean, ranked No. 10 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III South Atlantic Region rankings, improved to 6-3-1 overall and 3-1 in the NJAC. NJCU fell to 1-6-1 (0-4 NJAC), dropping its fifth straight.
