RUTGERS-CAMDEN EDGES NJCU WOMEN, 3-0, IN 2013 SOCCER FINALE
JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Rutgers University-Camden scored twice in the second half to pull away after a tightly-played first 45 minutes as the Scarlet Raptors defeated New Jersey City University, 3-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference women's soccer game on October 30 at the Robert L. McNulty Memorial Soccer Field.

The game was the season finale for both schools. NJCU finished at 1-11-1 (0-9-0 NJAC), dropping its final 10 games. The Raptors (5-11-2, 2-7 NJAC) snapped a three-game skid with the win, outshooting the Gothic Knights, 24-2, including 16-2 in the second half.
Prior to the game, NJCU honored its lone senior, four-year defender KARLA REYES-ABRIL (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex), on Senior Day. She had both of NJCU's shots in the outing.
In defeat, two-time All-New Jersey Athletic Conference junior goalkeeper BRITTANY HOFFMAN (McMurray, PA/Peters Township), the NCAA Division III leader in saves per game entering the contest (14.58), made seven stops. She finished the year with 182 saves, averaging exactly 14 saves per game.
